HORSEPOWER's mission is to promote and enhance the welfare of individuals with disabilities by providing a program of therapeutic, educational and recreational value, and further, to empower individuals who are mentally, physically, emotionally and/or socially challenged through the use of horses, while providing therapeutic benefits in a safe and controlled atmosphere.
We are not a place for "pony rides". We are here to make a difference in people's lives. Currently, HORSEPOWER is building a brand new facility in High Point that should be operational around April of 2018. This will allow for a handicapped accessible barn, a Veteran's barn, a Sensory Trail, and other facilities to meet current and emerging needs of individuals, schools, and other agencies that serve people living with disabilities.
